Join us in Florida for the 11th Annual TBLC Meeting
The Team-Based Learning Collaborative (TBLC) is a group of educators
dedicated to supporting faculty from a variety of disciplines who wish to implement team-based learning.
Our recent conferences have included educators from a range of backgrounds, including medical education, other health-related disciplines, graduate and undergraduate education, professional schools, and K-12 education. We have benefited from everyone’s experience and wisdom as we strive to share teaching resources and promote the dissemination, evaluation and scholarship of team-based learning.
We invite you to the 11th Annual Conference on Team-Based Learning in Higher Education. The Annual Meeting presentations take the form of plenary presentations, workshops, oral presentations, and posters. The 2012 annual meeting will be March 2-3, 2012 in St. Petersburg, Florida, with pre-meeting workshops on March 1.
For those of you who are new to team based learning, consider sessions under the Fundamentals Track, where you will learn the essential skills to start and improve a team-based learning program at your own institution. Check out the sessions under the Fundamentals Track, which will help you perfect your skills in managing TBL activities.
For those of you who have gained some expertise in team-based learning, we have two exciting tracks to help you expand and improve your team-based learning classes. The Innovations Track will focus on novel and creative ways to develop and perfect your team-based learning skills. In the Research/Scholarship Track educators will present methods related to educational research or research studies about team-based learning.
Sincerely,
